All searches are performed on company’s short name. In the Macedonian Trade Register there are two names for each company (short name and long name). The short name is most commonly used in the business community. The long name usually contains the short name and description of the company’s activity and legal form (e.g. Consulting and software development company RE-AKTIV DOO Skopje). Since EBR displays only one name, CRM will display only the short name.
Tips for the user:
Latin searches are converted to Macedonian Cyrillic characters and are passed to the database. In some cases, for conversion of special Cyrillic characters two Latin characters are needed (e.g. Macedonian Ч is converted to Latin CH) and vice versa.
The algorithm in use is “Contains Phrase”.
This means that for the company with a short name “ALKALOID AD Skopje” one will get the result if searches by any of the following phrases:
ALKALLOID AAD SKOPJESKOPJE
