There are two types of Company search: Simple Search and Advanced Search.

Simple Search is used on the followings parameters: complete name of enterprise, its abbreviation, alternative name of enterprise (transliterated, Russian or English name).

Advanced Search uses different combinations of the extended search: name of enterprise, registration number or EDRPOU Code, legal form.

Parameters of Simple search and Advanced Search:

Simple Search

«Company Name». Parameter «Company Name» presented in Ukrainian, English, Russian languages and in translation. It can include Legal form, if the proper mark is set in USR. Also brief name (abbreviation) search is possible.

Advanced Search

Parameter "Company name" presented in Ukrainian, English, Russian languages and in translation. It can include Legal form, if the proper mark is set in USR. Also brief name (abbreviation) search is possible.

Registration number or EDRPOU Code (Registration number). You can use two attributes in this line: internal number of registration folder (sequence of 11 numbers) or EDRPOU Code (sequence of 8 numbers). A search on Registration Number is executed regardless of other parameters.

Legal Form. A parameter “Legal form” is a reference book of legal forms. A search on Legal Form is possible only in conjunction with Company Name.

The register of the entered parameters doesn’t influence on the search result.

All blanks at the beginning and end of the search criteria are chopped off. Two or more successive blanks considered as one.

The following characters exist in an index and using them is possible: English, Russian and Ukrainian alphabets, numbers, and also characters: ^ - # $ % &, . : ; < = > @ №.

Character of «asterisk» [*] in a search is used for replacement of one or a few arbitrary characters. However with a substitution at the beginning of a word it is necessary to use character of «double asterisk» [**]. A search can be conducted both on complete and on partial matching with the use of foregoing characters.

If for a search on the «Company Name» a few words are used, a search is made on the condition of logical «and».

If there isn’t a wild card character [*] in a search phrase, a search will be carried out on the exact matching of words.

If a search phrase is placed in double quotation marks [" “], a search will be conducted with the condition of complete matching of the phrase.

A search phrase must be no less than three characters (without taking into account leading and tail blanks). If the name of the enterprise is shorter than three characters it must be either placed in double quotation marks ["] (for a search on a complete match) or complement official characters [*].

For a search excluding specific words, it is necessary to use official character «minus» [-]. Character [-] is used only in the case that there is at least one blank before it. For a management priority of action of character [-] it is possible to use «round brackets» [( )].

For example, the query of AAA –ВВВ CCC will return all results which contain AAA and CCC, but BBB is not contained; and query of AAA –(BBB CCC) will return all results which contain AAA and does not contain the combination of words of BBB CCC.

If sign «minus» must be included in the condition of the search (used as part of searching criterion), it is necessary to put a sign [\] before it.

For a search on a condition logical «OR» it is necessary to use a sign [|]. A sign [|] is used between words or word combinations. The result of the search on the name of enterprise will include at least one or both of them if they exist.

For example, query ART (MASTER | SOFTWARE) will find companies, containing in the name of word ART and one of words MASTER or SOFTWARE (in this example «round brackets» are also used for prioritization).

EDRPOU Code - must be a sequence of 8 numbers.

Registration number - must be a sequence of 11 numbers.

Legal form – this parameter is a reference book of legal forms.
